The iPad … do not want! …

by slippy on Feb.01, 2010, under Uncategorized

Last week I saw some pictures from the brand new Apple iPad floating through the internet and my first thoughts just were like ‘WOW! that’ll be a real kick ass thing’ … now, a few days later, I’m absolutely sure that I’ll never buy such a thing.

Main and only reason: it has NO(!) USB port … damnit! come on Apple … what’s this about? Sure – you want to lock out the hackers/jailbreakers … just being sure nobody may find a hole in your OS?!

It’s a pity that you’re following such a bad politic way … :|

Btw. this video above is in-game graphics. No pre-rendered video. Using the power of the Eclipse engine by Bioware

Some news … not much … but some ;)

by slippy on Dez.22, 2009, under English

Hi there,

long time no hear from my side – I know … but I’ve been busy with so much interesting stuff lately – perhaps I’ll post some of my new points of interest in one of my next articles, we’ll see.

Anyway …

First of all I’d like to thank Andy, one of the blog readers here, who pointed out that all the download links in this blog were messed up – I think this was due to an automatic major wordpress update – so I didn’t recognize this. Of course all downloads do work now again – just navigate to the appropriate page and download the stuff from there – any bookmarked links won’t work as they are obsolete now.
Thanks again for this, Andy!

And now – I wish you a merry X-mas and a Happy New Year 2010 …

See ya

Ein Schelm, wer Böses dabei denkt … :)

by slippy on Nov.30, 2007, under Fun

Kohle

From: Madam Valerie Kevin Laurent
Lot 12, Rue 18, district d’abidjanCote D’Ivoire (formerly Ivory Coast)Africa.

Dear,

I am Madam Valerie Kevin a native of Solomon Island but married to late Dr Kevin Laurent from Cote D’Ivoire ,who worked with Tonga Embassy in IvoryCoast for Twenty-Six years before he died January 4, 2005,after a brief illness that lasted for only five days.

In 2006 I was diagnosed as suffering from acute and full blown cancer, my Doctor have told me that I may not last for the next Eight months due to my cancer problem. Recently I have a partial stroke that has made life unbearable to me.
When my late husband was alive he deposited the sum of (US$17.5 M ) (Seventeen Million,Five hundred Thousand United States Dollars) in one leading bank here in Abidjan capital of Republic Cote d’Ivoire. Presently, this money is still with the bank, in a suspense dormant diplomatic account.

Having known my condition I have decided to donate this fund deposited by my late husband for Charity work to anybody or group that will utilize this money the way I am going to instruct herein, and according to the desire of my late husband before his death.

I want this fund to be used in Charitable Activities like, Orphanages, ChristianSchools, Churches, and to people affected by Natural Disasters. I took this decision because I don’t have any child that will inherit this money. This is why I have taken this decision. Take note I don’t need any telephone communication in this regard because of my health and according to the doctor’s advice.

As soon as I receive your reply I shall put you in contact with the bank in Abidjan,to enable you arrange with them to get the fund transferred into your bank account.

Would you Please assure me that you will act accordingly as I stated herein. Hoping to receive your reply as soon as you receive this message.

Please forward these informations to me as a sign of your agreement to do this noble work

1, Your Full Name 2, Your direct telephone number 3, Your Home Address 4, Your Occupation 5 Age.
Finally you will be entitled to 20% of the total money for your personal use if you succeed to transfer this money into your account and then use the rest 80% for the work as i instructed. I need your urgent response!

Regards,Yours sincerely,Madam Valerie Kevin Laurent

Lotto Jackpot

by slippy on Nov.29, 2007, under Events, Philosophie, Weisheiten

Moins zusammen,

Was an sich sehr interessantes sogar.

In diesem Sinne …

Euer SLiPPY
